Sugar Is A Ninja

What if I told you Bruce Lee’s middle name was Sara?

I would be lying, but it would be funny.

Sugar is a sneaky mother***er.

Sugar is a ninja.

You are never safe. You need to be watching your back at all times. It lurks in the shadows, it infiltrates from the inside out, and you never see it coming.

Bruce (Sara) Lee

Cobra Kai Johnny

And sure enough, Sho’Nuff.

Masters of deception. Masters of manipulation. Striking without ever being seen.

Ninjas.

Sugar is a ninja.

Hell, sugar is THE ninja.

Hiding In Plain Site

As much as sugar is a ninja, I am an assassin. I am going to show you how to snipe the sugar from a distance. See it coming and react before it gets to you. Think of me like Chris Kyle. I have the record for sugar kills.

To make it easy, I will give you the places you are consuming sugar the most without even knowing it (ninja tactics). I am leaving out bread, pasta, rice, etc. If you don’t know sugar is in there, I don’t know if you are safe from the sugar ninja at all.

Here are the hiding spots:

Cereal
Yogurt
Granola/snack bars
Juice
Dried fruit
Artificial Sweeteners

Wait? Did you say artificial sweeteners? Those are sugar? No, but you will see how they may be even worse for you than actual sugar (which is NOT an excuse to just eat sugar. I know what you are trying to do, stop justifying, please).

Fat

Sugar makes you fat. If you are fatter than you want to be, there is a 99.99% chance that it is because of sugar. You eat too much of it. If you are burning sugar you are not able to burn fat, on top of the fact that each sugar calorie that is not burned will eventually be stored as fat.

Sugar = fat. Remember that.

Each gram of sugar is about 4 calories. If you are eating a bowl of cereal, a yogurt, granola/snack bar, a glass of juice, or fruit before work, then sitting, how many calories do you think you are burning?

Right. Not many. That sugar is not only keeping you from burning fat, it will eventually become fat.

Sugar = fat.

Alternatives for breakfast: 1. Eggs. Hard-boiled if you are in a hurry. Make them all on Sunday so they are ready to grab during the week. Your neighbors in the office will hate you, but you will be healthy, so screw them. 2. Plain, Greek yogurt, with some blueberries. There will be no sugar in the yogurt, and blueberries have a very low sugar content. 3. No juice. Water is boring, but so much better for you. Coffee is fine, but do NOT add sugar, even artificial sweeteners (section on that later).

You should not be eating close to your bed time anyways, so ideally, by the time you wake up, your body is close to, if not already, in fat burning mode. By not consuming sugar, you will be burning fat while you work! How great is that!! When your body does not have sugar as a fuel source, it switches to fat. No gym, no Stairmaster, no kettle bells, just chillin, burning fat. Hooray!

Avoid sandwiches for lunch. Salads are great, but watch the dressing (sugar, sugar substitutes). The best thing you can do for a salad dressing is use olive oil, salt and pepper. Toss in all the vegetables you want. Lentils, walnuts, avocados are great additions for protein as well. Go nuts, as long as you go healthy.

Are we comfortable with all this?

Focus on grass fed meats, wild fish, tons of veggies (I make huge smoothies and just dump them all in there. If you want the recipe, hit me up on the socials — links at the bottom).

One thing to be cognizant of when you eat out is to check and see if they use olive oil. Most restaurants use vegetable or canola oils when they cook. So you may be getting something inherently healthy like chicken or fish, but if it is cooked in canola oil, it is going to irritate your system and you won’t be digesting the food well, yada yada yada. Just something to keep in mind.

Artificial Sweeteners

Here is the king of all ninjas.

To put it plainly, fake sugar will f*** you up.

Direct enough for you?

Good.

Basically, fake sugar tricks your body in to thinking it is getting sugar, so you spike your dopamine and leptin, but never supply the sugar that your body thinks it is getting, and it creates cravings for the carbs you never gave it.

Make sense?

It also spikes your insulin. What does that do? Remember when you were younger and you had to clean your room? What did you do? You took all your crap and threw it in the closet. Viola! Room is clean!! That’s what insulin does (basically) to your system. Everything you ate gets absorbed. It doesn’t disperse it correctly in your system, it just throws it all in the closet. All done!

Sweet taste + no calories = insulin spikes and cravings = no bueno

Oh yeah!

It gets worse!

It damages your gut flora. You know, the good bacteria in your gut that allows you to process food correctly, distribute it to where it needs to go, absorb the good, get rid of the bad? Basically, everything your gut does. It hijacks that.

I told you it’s a ninja.

What happens when you don’t digest your food correctly? You don’t release vital chemicals because your system is all messed up, which can lead to depression, inflammation which effects joints, organs, etc. Think of it like a stick shift, you are revving your RPMs to 5 and 6k, when you should be shifting at 2500. Over time, you wear out. Breaking down the good bacteria also means things are left in your system that can lead to auto-immune diseases, allergies, etc.

It’s bad.

Real bad.

People don’t realize that a major center for dopamine release is in your gut. If your gut is not functioning correctly, you don’t get that release of dopamine when you should. That can lead to depression, which can lead to low self-esteem, not caring, and eating more poo poo.

Don’t eat poo!!

Make sure you don’t take that last statement out of context. Not a good look. And not very helpful as

I am sure most of you are not poo eaters. My dog is, but I hope you are not.

Porn

this article contains graphic language

It is ironic that Pamela Anderson is launching a new campaign against porn.

She was my “gateway drug” to the media genre, even before the sex tape.

If it weren’t for her no one would have ever given a s*** about Paris Hilton, and Kim Kardashian would just be some chick in LA.

Thanks Pam!

Even though her fame trajectory took off the less and less clothes she wore, she might be the perfect spokesperson for this movement. She knows porn from the inside out (no pun intended, well, maybe a little).

My General Thoughts On Porn

I don’t even understand how porn exists. Honestly. I mean, I get why people watch it and look at it, hot women, naked, fulfilling fantasies, blah blah blah, etc. I just don’t understand how in the world you can talk a woman in to doing any of that stuff on camera in the first place.

Half the stuff they do in porn you can’t talk the woman in to doing in private, let alone for the entire “interwebs” to see.

I know the money is good (at least I hope), but holy s***. You are taking the most intimate thing you can do with another person (or two depending on the style of porn you are in to), and putting a camera right up in there, in the middle of all the action, and then putting it all over the web.

To me, that’s crazy!

It’s insane!

Just understanding the mindset of the girls the first time they do it would be fascinating.

Obviously after the first time, they keep doing it because that way they can tell themselves that it’s not that bad, so they don’t s*** on themselves for their poor choices in life. But that first time? You know that never goes away, right? Google is forever ladies.

I don’t get it.

Sucking d*** on camera?

Sucking two or three d***s at the same time on camera?

WTF are you thinking?

Even for the dudes.

What does your resume look like after being in porn? Craziness.

Even if you get paid, there is no honor in being a whore.

The same way there is no honor in being a drug dealer.

How you make your money is more important than how much money you make.

Use your brains and the gifts God gave you, not just the holes. (too graphic? Sorry).

The Serious Side Effects Of Porn

This may sound crazy.

You may be thinking,

“What’s wrong with looking at some titties every once in a while?”

“It’s safe, it’s better than cheating.”

“I still come home to my wife (or insert whatever your living situation is here)”

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.

It is not safe, at all.

You think it’s just effecting you and your box of tissues, but it is actually re-wiring your brain.

Now there is good rewiring and bad rewiring.

How do you decipher between good and bad rewiring? Well, when the thing that is rewiring your brain is naked, or humping, or seems physically impossible while naked and or humping, on top of the fact that you don’t want people to know you are watching it, it’s bad rewiring.

Are we all on the same page?

Good.

Let’s get to the meat and potatoes.

Science Time

Porn releases dopamine, and endorphins in to your brain. Your brain then connects those happy, dopamine, chemicals to porn. Essentially creating a pathway in your brain called “porn makes you happy.” It also releases norepinephrine, which enhances your focus. Now you are telling your brain to pay attention, that what you are doing is important. Porn has now been engrained in your brain as an important, happy making device.

Let’s dig a little deeper.

When you ejaculate, oxytocin and serotonin are released. What you just watched and did made you feel calm, relaxed, and happy. You basically just did heroin by watching porn and jacking off.

Seriously, make this connection: Watching porn does similar things to your system that heroin does.

Well, it’s better than heroin, right?

Please stop trying to talk your way in to more porn!

It’s bad. It’s all bad. Drugs and porn. Porn and drugs.

Relationships

Instead of experiencing all of those wonderful chemical releases with your spouse or significant other, you are experiencing them with Big Titty Tina, or Little Anal Annie, or whatever person you are “viewing” that day.

This is also what happens with cheating. You are putting yourself in to a situation when you are releasing a rush of high potent, mood shifting, focus driving, chemicals in to your system with someone other than the person you should be releasing them with. That, combined with the chemicals released from doing “something bad”, creates a chemical hormone bomb. You are basically training yourself to be a piece of s***. Nice work.

Once these chemicals get locked in (neural pathways created) to a person, event or place other than your spouse or significant other, the pathways are set. You have just created a paved road to straight to Not Good Town in your brain. This is something VERY difficult to undo.

Your Brain On Drugs, Any Questions?

A more comfortable example of the way pathways can be created in the brain is with sugar. The way your brain connects energy and alertness with sugar, which means when you are tired you have cravings for s*** food, because your brain knows it gives you quick energy, you are connecting a physical and mental high with porn. When you want to feel better, when you want to relax, when you want to feel the dopamine levels spike, you turn to porn. You turn to millions and millions of pages, photos, and videos of porn, all right at your fingertips. Thousands of different women doing thousands of different things. When you get tired of one there is another one right around the corner to keep those dopamine levels high. It is quicksand, and you are walking right in to it.

Have you seen The Princess Bride? You are in The Fire Swamp, but Wesley is not there to jump in after you.

Just like drugs and alcohol, if you keep coming back to this “high” your brain will stop producing as much dopamine. Just like the heroin or cocaine addict, you start needing more to get the same high you did before. More porn, more intense porn, different types of porn, who knows? But it effects all aspects of your life. Because your dopamine receptors are not as active, regular, day-to-day things that used to make you happy or excited don’t anymore. Your dopamine receptors don’t distinguish between boobies and baseball. All they know is they don’t need to respond as much anymore. You are frying your happiness the way someone who took too much ecstasy does. Now you are like a heroin, cocaine and ecstasy addict. Happy Monday!

Addiction damages the brain!!

Do you believe me yet?

Look at Antony Weiner, talk about an addicted dude. Get help mother f***er!!

That’s what we can turn ourselves in to by not taking this as seriously as we do drugs. His “high” is sexting. Others are just porn, or just movies, or whatever. But it manifests itself in to your daily life. I bet Mr. Weiner (which ironically sounds like a great porn name) started out watching porn. Just jacking off in his room or whatever, then it got less stimulating, he was releasing less dopamine, it didn’t feel as good or exciting, so he stepped it up. Viola!! Sexting!

He is an addict.

But just like with drugs, he trained himself in to being an addict by walking down a road he never should have been on.

And boom goes the dynamite.

The Challenge

How many days can you go without watching porn?

I don’t mean you don’t look at the crazy stuff you used and switch it softcore, or lingerie models instead, I mean cold turkey.

Think you can do 30 days?

Try it.

No porn, no lingerie ads, no swimsuit editions, no jacking off, no nothing.

For the next 30 days, you are porn free.

Have sex with your spouse or significant other as much as you want.

But no porn.

Can you do it?

Of course you will say yes now, but how about tonight, or tomorrow? What about in a few days?

That’s when you know if you have an issue or not, when you can’t do it.

Seen the Seinfeld episode?

How long can you last?

Try to go 30 days, and take notice of the effects. I bet your relationship will be better. I bet your sleep will be better. I know your sex will be better. It will feel better. Not only mentally but physically. You de-sensitize your gear when you “tie one off.” Sex will feel better.

How could it feel any better?

By not jacking off!

30 days.

If you make the whole 30 days I would love to hear from you.

If you don’t make it at all I would love to hear from you.

Have Skype? Come on my podcast, lets talk about it. Let’s help other people (mostly men) get over
this, help them make their lives better.

This issue is as serious as drugs.

It’s so serious, one of the drugs (Pamela Anderson) is turning on the other drugs.

Marijuana is telling on Coke (not a-cola), H, and X.

It’s time to take notice.

What Are You An Example Of?

Whether you like it or not, you are an example to someone.

What exactly are you an example of?

That’s a great question.

You tell me.

Biographies and Autobiographies

James Altucher says, “advice is autobiography.” I totally agree, but it is also biography. I can give advice based on other people’s stories, and I do. When I am answering questions on my podcast/vlog, Just Ask Joey, I only answer things that I know about. The only way I can know about anything is if I have lived it or seen it lived. Do my friends and family know I am talking about them? If they are self-aware enough they know. And to be honest, if they are self-aware I am probably saying good things about them. If they are not self-aware, I am probably saying something negative about them. Not in a gossipy sort of way, just a statement of fact.

So What Kind Of An Example Are You?

To make this easier, let’s look at the major aspects of your life: work, home, and friends.

Work:

What kind of an example are you there? What do people say about you? What would they say if they were asked?

Are you nice or mean? Hardworking or lazy? First to arrive and last to leave, or last to arrive and first to leave?

Be honest.

Are you the best, the worst, or somewhere in between?

If someone were writing the story of your company or your office, what character are you?

Are you the type of person that brings the office up or down? Is the quality of the work better when you are involved? Is the moral higher when you are on a team?

The big question is, when they are training a newbie, are you the example of what to do or what not to do?

Ask yourself that.

And if you are anywhere on that spectrum other than the top, why are you ok with that? Mediocrity, or laziness, sloppiness, never going the extra mile. How have you allowed yourself to be okay with that?

Recognize your example for what it is, and make it better.

Home:

What kind of a spouse are you?

What kind of a parent?

When your kids grow up, are they going to want to be like you, or the opposite of you? Where are you strong? Where are you weak?

If you don’t have kids this is even better. You can think about the type of parent you want to be. Are you going to be the example that your kids emulate? Or the opposite?

Look at your parents. Do you do the same thing as them or totally different? Why? What type of an example are you going to be for your kids?

These are the kinds of questions we need to ask ourselves.

This is an even bigger one to ask yourself: if you think you are a good example as a parent, would your kids and spouse feel the same way if they knew everything that they don’t know? The things you don’t tell them? That they don’t see?

This is a huge question, and one that many people get caught on. If they don’t know it can’t hurt them. That is poisonous thinking.

Everything effects everything, whether it is known or not.

Whatever you are hiding, either knock it off, or tell them so it forces you to knock it off (I suggest this, the truth really can set you free).

Friend:

Do your friends look at you as someone who adds to their life, or takes away?

I am not talking entertainment value, I am talking about real value.

What do you bring to the table?

Do you find yourself with the same friends as you always have, or do you cycle through friendships?

What does it mean to be a good friend?

Are you there for them?

Do you keep track of favors to make sure you don’t do too many without getting some in return?

Can they count on you?

Can you count on them?

Are they good people to have around? Are you good for them? Do you fight? Do you argue?

If they were making a list of the “best” (as in best person) friends, where you on that list?

Purpose

What I am taking the long way to say is, you need to live with purpose.

You need to audit the hell out of yourself to make sure you are actually living the life you think you are. Don’t fool yourself. Don’t ignore the questions because they are too hard to answer. Get in there.

Clean out the wounds, and be stronger than ever.

Work with purpose.

Be a part of your family with purpose. Be a child with purpose. A spouse or partner with purpose. A parent with purpose.

Be a friend with purpose.

Any time you get in to a situation where you need to question what you are doing you can ask yourself, what example am I setting? Why? Because it is not only about you. Someone, somewhere is watching. They will either use you as an example to, or an example not to.

Choose to live better.

Choose to be better.

An example that we can all follow.

Blame Yourself, Be Happy

“Don’t be so hard on yourself.”

“It’s not your fault.”

“There was nothing you could do.”

Let’s throw all of these out the window and replace them with,

“It’s your fault.”

Actually, this needs to come from you so, technically

“It’s my fault.”

Ah.

Doesn’t that feel better?

Of course not, because you are not in the right mindset.

Where you need to be is in the mindset that when ANYTHING goes wrong, EVERYTHING is your
fault.

Ouch.

Stick with me here people.

This is the only way to completely free yourself from victim mode, from the blame game, from
everyone else’s fault.

When It’s Your Fault You Are In Control

Don’t like the outcome? Do it different next time.

Don’t like your team? Make them better.

Don’t like following? Great. Lead.

If you are on a team, or in a business, or on a project, and it does not live up to expectations, you are at fault. You could have done something better, something different, been more insightful, or asked better questions, something, anything, but you didn’t

When you take the blame, you take control.

Isn’t that beautiful?

Maybe you are working on a project right now and it’s not going great. Don’t pass the torch, don’t separate yourself from it because it will fall on someone else’s shoulders. This is the time to dig deep and really get in there. It’s trench time baby! This is where they separate the leaders from the losers.

This is where you make a name for yourself.

Stand out, take charge, and take the blame.

If You Are Unhappy, Blame Yourself Right Now

This might sound cliché, but the first step to winning is admitting that you are losing.

So many people know this.

Very few people do it.

You know them. They are your friends, your family. Drinking, drugs, women, men, gambling, under committing, over committing, lazy, fat, whatever. You know them, you’ve seen them, and you may be one of them.

If you are unhappy, you need to look yourself in the mirror and blame yourself for your unhappiness.

What will this do (besides make you depressed)?

Hopefully it will flip your “on” switch and you will start taking charge.

No one made you drink.

No one made you eat too much.

No one keeps you from working out.

No one made you bet on those games.

No one made you take drugs.

No one made you call her back, or him back, when you knew you shouldn’t.

You did that!!

All by yourself!!

You dug the hole, and you are still holding the shovel.

Fix It

Now that we got the harsh part out of the way, you can start changing your life. Stop taking the easy way out, find your fault in every situation you are unhappy with. Once you admit the mistake you can fix it. If you never admit it, you will always blame someone or something else, and everything will stay exactly the same.

If you are always pointing outward, you will always be a victim. You will be at the disposal of the world around you because you are giving up control on your life.

He was mean to me.

We are poor.

My boss is a d***

If you are saying any of those things, you are saying, “I’m helpless.”

We all know you’re not. We can see your potential. But you are going to have to get out of your own way.

Blame yourself. Take control. Be happy.

The Absolute Value Of Relationships

This is an article to help you with the difficult relationships in your life.

Do you hate somebody?

Do you cringe when you see them?

Do they ruin your day?

That is no way to live. Even if you only see them a few times a year, it’s no way to feel. Hate is ugly.

Giving someone the power to ruin your day is sad.

Take the power back by changing your perspective.

Absolute Value

This is a math term, but you do not need to be a math lover to apply it to your life.

To put it plainly, it is the value from zero.

5 from zero could be a 5 or a -5.

That means whether it is positive or negative, the value is 5.

The greater the positive or the greater the negative, the greater the value.

-100 has just as much value as 100.

They are both 100 away from zero.

The bigger the positive, the bigger the value.

The bigger the negative, the bigger the value.

Relationships

If we apply this to relationships in our life, we can find the positive in even the most negative relationships.

Remember, the more negative, the higher the value.

Can you see the power in that?

It changes everything.

This can be a defining moment in your life.

The day you applied absolute value to your life.

You will gain just as much from the negative relationships as the positive ones in your life.

Application

What are some of your best relationships?

Friends? Parents? Siblings? Grandparents? Children?

What have you learned from them?

Make a list of 5 people and mark a tally for every lesson they taught you.

Now.

What are some of your worst relationships?

Unfortunately, this could be the same people on the positive list.

Family? Co-workers? Friends? Parents? Children? Spouses?

Make a list of your least favorite people, or the ones that have caused you the most harm.

I hope it’s not more than 5, but if it is, this exercise will benefit you even more.

Now, make a list of every bad thing they did to you. I mean EVERYTHING. This is for your eyes only, so be honest, dig deep, put it on paper.

Keep this in mind while you are deciding what to write down, we can’t learn from the negative if we deny it’s there.

This part is never easy, but it is the most important.

Once you get everything out, as painful as it is, you can get to the good part.

Take each of those bad things, and write out what you learned from them. Try to come up with two or three things for each negative.

Remember, they are supposed to be positive. You can’t put something like, “I learned that he/she is an a**hole.” That doesn’t count. Keep it a positive learning experience.

Now tally them up.

5 things? 10? 20? 30?

The more you practice the more you will come up with, the easier it gets.

The Number

What you will find is that some of your negative relationships actually have brought you more value than your positive ones.

Bad relationships can make you: stronger, smarter, more aware, resilient, compassionate, driven, and loving.

If you don’t focus on the negative, it diminishes that person’s power over you, their ability to ruin your day, to make you sad, and your feelings of hate.

I’m not saying you want to run up to them and give you a big ol sloppy kiss, but through their negativity in your life, you are a better person.

Their value in your life is higher than you thought.

You are better because of the negativity they brought in your life.

????

I know what you are thinking.

“If I am better because of the negative, is it really a negative?”

Exactly my point.

How different do you feel now?

The absolute value can be applied to anything negative if your life. No matter what, when you take the knowledge gained, you find the value.

Missing out on the promotion, or new job.

What did you learn?

What is the value?

My parents are sick.

What did you learn?

What is the value?

He verbally abused me.

What did you learn?

What is the value?

They were a horrible parent.

What did you learn?

What is the value?

You are a collection of the things that have happened to you, and the perspective you have given those things.

If you are unhappy, you need to change your perspective.

If you are sad, you need to change your perspective.

Find The Value

Find the positive you can take away from everything s****y that has ever happened to you.

All of those things have either made you better, or they are just waiting to make you better.

Find the absolute value in everything, positive and negative.

If you can spin everything to work in your favor, things start working in your favor.

Make the change.

Ending Police Protests

Colin Kaepernick can stand for the national anthem now.

Same with Eric Reid, Jeremy Lane, Megan Rapinoe, and whomever else doesn’t stand when the NFL season kicks off this Thursday.

Did I solve the racial issues in this country?

Eh. Not exactly. I am pretty sure those will be around for a while, mostly because no one is having an honest conversation. Everyone gets defensive, no one is self-reflective enough to deal with their own faults, they would rather deal with everyone else’s. It’s easier that way. Not very effective, but easier.

A Little Perspective

What would you do with an NBA player that shot the ball in the wrong hoop to lose a championship?

Want him fired.

How about a baseball player that couldn’t hit in the biggest games of his career (like A-Rod)?

Want him fired.

Let’s get a little more serious.

How about a doctor that amputates the wrong leg? Removes the wrong kidney? Can’t find the
intestines?

Want him fired.

What about a police officer that doesn’t know the difference, in a high stress situation, between a

Taser and a gun?

Or an officer that doesn’t know the difference between a drill and a gun? A wallet and a gun?

How about one that is not able to decipher between a life and death situation, and one that is manageable?

You should want them fired.

You shouldn’t want them working with you.

But they are still on the job.

Even if they aren’t determined to be criminal acts (and I am not sure how, especially with the standards they place on everyone else, it should be even higher for trained law enforcement), they should at least be determined to be detrimental to the safety of the public and their team of officers.

At least.

So……

Why Are Officers Supporting Bad Officers?

I have no idea.

Even if they don’t care about the people they kill (and I am sure they do), why would you want someone out on patrol with you that can’t determine the severity of a situation? Or a weapon? Or a toy? Or a “threatening move”?

In any other profession, if you did something, or judged something wrong, and a person died, you would get fired.

Why is it not the same standard for police?

I think it should be even higher. They are trained. On top of that, it’s their job. They are technically professional safety evaluators. When they evaluate a situation as unsafe, they fix it. But if their evaluation is off, things can get very ugly, very fast.

It should be simple. Why? Because you are either able to do your job correctly or not. Just like any other profession, when you can’t do it, you are not allowed to do it anymore.

A little breakdown:

If it was a wallet and you thought it was a gun, you’re fired.

If the person had no weapon in their pocket when you claimed they were reaching for one, you’re fired.

If the video shows the guy staggering away from you when you said they were coming towards you, you’re fired.

Not your Taser, your gun? Fired.

Holding a drill, not a gun? Fired.

If you put a guy in a chokehold to subdue the individual, and they die, you are fired.

Don’t secure a criminal in the back of your van and they die? Fired.

See? Isn’t this easy?

Even if it is not criminal, it is negligent to have a person like that on the force.

It’s not fair to the large percentage (and you will see my stats further below) of officers that are able
to do their jobs correctly.

Is It Training?

Kaep said you need more training to do make-up than be a cop, and that’s why there are so many unjustified police shootings. That may be true if you only look at hours, but it’s the quality of the training, not the training time that counts.

A little perspective:

There are 900,000 uniformed officers in the US. On average (and please keep in mind I am only going on high profile cases) there are 5 “unjust” police shootings a year. This is an average over the last 3 years. Most of those people getting shot were done so by a single officer. It’s not like the whole police force shot a dude.

What does that mean?

5 % 900,000 = 0.000005% of cops shoot someone unjustly.

That’s a pretty good stat.

As long as you are not the person getting killed I mean. They 100% died.

You know what that means?

Not only does the training seem to be pretty good, but it means that all of this mess is because the police officers and their unions in the different states and counties around the country are holding on to the bottom 0.000005% of cops.

What does THAT mean?

0.000005% of the cops cause 99.999% of the problems, and they are holding on to them.

I got 99 problems……..

Pardon Me Officer, But Why?

Why do you want these s*** cops next to you on patrol?

You want them protecting your family?

You want them making a life or death decision with your life on the line?

Why?

What are you thinking?

Is it a stressful job? Hell yes, that’s why only certain people can do it. These 0.000005% are not those people.

Time to say bye bye!!

But why aren’t you doing it?

You think a military patrol is going to keep a loose canon out there in the middle of a war?

Hell no. Why? Because every situation has the potential to be a life or death situation. Why would you want someone who can’t handle it out there with you?

It’s the same thing with officers. Every traffic stop could be your last. Every call could be your last.

Every day could be your last.

Sounds like a horrible job, but God bless you for doing it.

With all that on the line every time you put that shield on, why would you want to risk it with someone who is not good at their job?

There are nice jobs elsewhere. Wish them good luck, then get a partner that isn’t going to mess you up.

If you can’t do the job, you CAN’T do the job.

Is that such a crazy statement?

I think it makes perfect sense, especially with the severity of the job.

We aren’t talking about burger flippers here. I need to check the fatality rate on that, but I can’t imagine it being that high. I mean, it’s high for the consumers, but not the flippers.

There are not many bad cops statistically. 0.000005% is a pretty darn good number. So why let that small group pull down the other 895,000.

That just seems INSANE to me.

Yes it sucks getting fired, but not as bad as dying because they are not good at their job. Not as bad as protests in every major city, officers on high alert all over the country, and even more of a division between the badge and the people they are serving and protecting. All for what? A few s*** cops?

Crunch the numbers.

Let them go.

Bye bye bad cops.

A toy, a wallet, a drill, nothing, walking towards me, Taser, whatever, you are fired.

Problem solved.

Kaepernick can stand.

The police force will be 0.000005% better throughout the country.

And we can rest assure that the police take it seriously when one of their own is not up to the job.

That they really do want to protect and serve US, not just protect and serve their jobs.
